BIO: I am starting a new chapter in my life. In the deep mid-winter, living in upper Midwest of the U.S., the cold days and long nights always make me want to stay home and make savory, warm, and delicious food. Now, it looks like my job will be ending -- a victim of this lousy economy and a changing world -- and I will have time -- time to really learn to make a biscuit or baguette, to braise delicious meats in my French oven, and to finally get my recipes organized.
