This is a really unique recipe. Over-all, we really liked it - but - not thinking about the salt coming from the bacon, I salted the water for the pasta as directed and the final result was a dish that was WAY too salty for our taste. With that being said, the rest of the concept was really good. We will definitely try this again, just without salting the pasta water. Thanks for posting!

This was really good and surprisingly easy to make. Mine, however didn't seem to thicken up as described in the recipe, so I used a stick blender to smooth it out and let it simmer down. It has a really nice tangy flavour to it and I'll definitely make again. Thanks for posting!

Now, this is a GREAT recipe! I was concerned about the Parmesan in the butter melting and burning on the outside of the sandwich, but it came out fantastic! This is definitely a keeper. Maybe add some thin ham to it...a pickle or tomato... absolutely classic! Thanks for posting.

This was pretty good and super simple to make. Instead of transferring to a casserole dish for the last step, I just put everything back in the Dutch Oven and put that in the oven. One less dish to wash. We will tweak this recipe a bit as we found that there were far too many noodles OR not enough meat. Maybe 1 1/2 or 2 pounds would bring the proportions up. But all-in-all, this is a great recipe for new cooks. Thanks for posting!

This is the first Zucchini Salsa I've made. It turned out nice and spicy, but I forgot to add in some jalapenos. I made 1.5x the recipe and ended up with 13 pints. Will definitely make again and we will up the garlic for sure. Thanks for posting!

I really enjoyed these. They seem a wee bit labour intensive, so I think I will double the recipe next time, just to increase the yield for the amount of time it took. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was that I was thinking of a way to make them a bit more crisp. I think I'll cut the Zucchini a little thicker next time. Definitely will make again! I wish I could give this a 4.7 stars. It's a perfect recipe, just too sweet for us as it is written. Definitely a keeper, but I'm thinking next time I will drop the sugar to 4 cups down from 5. This recipe is so good that we have decided to plant zucchini, red & green peppers, and onion, just to make this again next year. Thanks for posting a keeper!

This is an excellent take on the standard scalloped potatoes that we're used to. Very creamy. I added 4oz of fresh mushrooms, sauteed and some fresh chopped garlic. I think by raising the amount of ham in this dish, it could easily be a 1-pot meal! Thanks for posting a keeper!

We really loved these. They came out crispy and flavourful. The only thing that kept it from 5 stars, was that we felt that for the amount of chicken livers, the overall quantity of the spice mix was too small.
