First of all with an expensive cut of meat such as a standing rib roast I always look to Kittencal for a recipe that is sure to be a winner. This recipe fills the bill perfectly. I omitted the black pepper and replaced it with dry crushed rosemary & thyme. However, I followed the rest of the recipe completely. Even though my roast was only a two ribber, it was extra large weighing in at 5.5 pounds. The meat came out perfectly medium rare and delicious tasting! Thank you Kitten for another perfect recipe!

WOW! This was definitely a winner! Since my DH doesn't like soggy carrots or celery, I pulverized them in my food processor first. This way we tasted all of the great flavor and he didn't realize he was eating celery and cooked carrots.
The funny thing is I almost forgot to add the chicken. I also added onions to it as we love them. I served the stew over white rice which sopped up the delicious tasting gravy. Thanks for posting! Made for Billboard tag 2012.

Delicious rendition! Everything worked great. I used a mandolin to slice the potatoes extra thin and i didn't peel the potatoes first. I also omitted both kinds of pepper for personal taste. Made it twice, and the second time around I added a layer of sweet onion. My daughter loved it as well and asked me for the recipe. We always count on Kittencal for perfect recipes. in addition, next time I may add some crispy bacon as a garnish. Made for Billboard tag.

Although I didn't follow the recipe to a tee, I did use Kitten's cooking method. I stuffed my bird with a store bought box of stuffing which I added pineapple too. Rubbed the bird with a mixture of olive oil, garlic salt, thyme and rosemary. I followed the roasting of the bird at 450 degrees F for 20 minutes, lowering the temperature to 400 F for an additional 55 minutes which I checked internal temp. I let the chicken rest the entire 15 minutes before removing the stuffing and it had a nice crisp skin with very moist white and dark meat. Very delicious! Yummy! Thanks for posting this recipe.

I thought this was very good. I used baby portabella mushrooms and chicken broth since I realized at the last minute that I didn't have any beef. I also served it with leftover LoMein noodles. Although the noodles are typically used in Asian dishes, the gravy boosted them to a new level. Thanks for posting this easy yummy recipe. After posting this review I realized that I forgot to mention that the cubed steak was tender and flavorful.

WOW! What an easy and delicious potato skin recipe! I used red bliss potatoes as I love the flavor of them especially with cheese. Also their skins aren't tough. I cheated and used Hormel bacon pieces plus I used extra sharp cheddar and freeze dried chives. Mad this as a side dish to a lamb steak. Delicious! Will be making this again! Thanks for posting!

Wow! Delicious mushroom appetizer or side dish! I cooked the bacon yesterday morning reserving bacon and reserved 2 tablespoons of the drippings to be used last night for dinner. I also used half the pack of large button mushrooms for this recipe as there were only two of us eating them. I also used them as a side dish for London broil. In addition I added some sharp cheddar to each mushroom cup. If you love mushrooms, then you will love this great recipe. This is definitely going into my keeper folder. Made for Billboard tag.

Delicious version of an omlet. I doubled the recipe and after peeling my apple, slicing it thinly, I also chopped it the other direction. I cooked the omlet, stuffed it and this is where I became inept in flipping it. So I wound up slithering it out on to a paper plate and then I flipped it back in the pan to lightly brown it on the other side. My DH and I loved the sweet tarty flavor of the gala apple in combination with the brie and egg. Simply said, it was delightful, and will be making it many times more!

WOW! Delicious creamy custard consistency with just the right amount of seasoning. I used baby portabella mushrooms and I sliced my asparagus cross wise in 1/2 inch slices. I also replaced the cheddar with gouda as I had it left over from another recipe. I also cheated by using a bought pie crust. If could give this recipe 25 stars I would! Made for Recipe Tag.
