Step 1: Place zucchini in a covered microwaveable dish and steam just until tender, about 2 minutes, but this time will vary based on how soft or firm you like your squash, and also your microwave wattage.
Step 2: As soon as squash is ready, add the remaining ingredients and toss lightly; the butter will melt from the heat of the squash.
