Step 1: Wash and scrub potatoes.
Step 2: Cut into 1/4 inch thick slices and lay half of the potatoes on a double thickness of aluminum foil.
Step 3: Slice the onion thinly and lay on top of the potatoes.
Step 4: Sprinkle with chives, seasoned salt, garlic powder and pepper and dot with the butter.
Step 5: Lay the rest of the potatoes on top.
Step 6: Fold up the foil, and seal the ends securely.
Step 7: Lay the foil packet on the grill over medium heat for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
