"The most perfect icing to pipe to top on cupcakes not to mention the best tasting icing!. Providing you use salted butter or add in some salt you can leave this icing at room temperature for 48 hours. There's enough to frost 12 cupcakes. This goes perfectly with my posted wedding cupcake recipe"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cream together the sugar with butter on low speed until well blended. Increase speed to medium and beat for another 2-3 minutes. Add vanilla and cream and continue to beat on medium speed for 1 minute more, adding more cream if needed for desired spreading/piping consistency.

Step 2

Scoop into a piping bag and pipe onto cupcakes in desired designs or spread onto a cooled cake.
