"This is one of my favorites, not to many ingredients but good and better the next day that is if you have any left. Just serve some Italian bread and/or a small tossed salad and dinner is ready. "

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, 1 to 2 minutes or until onion is tender, careful not to brown the garlic.

Step 2

Stir in flour. Gradually stir in evaporated milk and broth. Bring to a medium boil stirring constantly. Add sausage and beans; continue simmering covered on low for 20-30 minutes Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper.
