"Every cook has their own recipe for turkey or chicken stuffing. This is the recipe I have been using for ages."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat.

Step 2

Fry onions and celery together with the dried herbs, salt and pepper, stirring often, until vegetables are tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Transfer mixture to large bowl. Add the bread cubes and mix well.

Step 4

Stuff the turkey and cook accordingly.

Being we all love stuffing I always make plenty, this year instead of doubling a recipe I made two new to me recipes, one of them yours, the other Bergy's. Both made for a great addition to our Thanksgiving dinner! Loved the addition of savory!~

This was made as a test run for my Christmas dinner. This turned out very yummy. I only made one change and I added some minced garlic in, I also used 3 ribs of celery which was more than 2 cups. I loved the flavors of the herbs so I will be including this for my xmas dinner, thank you.
