"We love homemade sausage for breakfast every now and then and this is a good change from pork. These freeze wonderfully. The cook time does not reflect the chilling time."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients.

Step 2

Crumble turkey over mixture; mix lightly but thoroughly.

Step 3

Shape into 6 patties

Step 4

Refrigerate covered for 2 hours.

Step 5

In a large non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat.

Step 6

Add patties; cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 165F.

I made these as instructed, but grilled them on the BBQ instead which worked out well. These paired well with home fries and fry bread.

These were really easy to make and we enjoyed these tonight as part of our breakfast for dinner. I added a bit more onion and garlic but followed the rest to a T. I think I would have liked more sage and next time I would like to added some fresh sage as well. These were yummy Luvcookn and thank you for sharing.
