Sweet Pickle Ham Spread For Sandwiches
"This spread is a traditional recipe that was used to make sandwiches that were served up as a midnight snack along with egg salad sandwiches, cheese trays and mixed pickle trays at wedding parties. All the ladies in the bride's family would get together the night before the wedding and make loaves and loaves of sandwiches and appetizer trays. I still make this spread and have reduced the recipe to a small batch and I use it for sandwiches or serve it on crackers."
