Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a bowl combine the combine the chopped onion and garlic with all remaining ingredients; set aside.
Step 2
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Step 3
In a large heavy skillet brown the chicken pieces on both sides in oil (about 3 minutes on each side or until lightly browned).
Step 4
Pour the sauce over the chicken; cook over medium heat for about 35-40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (turning the chicken a few times during cooking). Delicious!
