Spicy Oven-Baked Shrimp Skewers
"These are delicious skewers I make in the winter time when the BBQ is covered in snow. These are just as good as grilled skewers, if not better. the prep time listed does not include the marinating time."

Delicious and easy. The only thing I will do differently next time is to crush my red pepper flakes a bit more for better distribution in the marinade. The cooking time is perfect for large shrimp. Not a bit over or under cooked. These seasonings.... Read more
- 1 pound fresh shrimp (large shrimp, shelled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (Tabasco)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked)
What You Will Need
Mix all ingredients except for shrimp in a large plastic bag.
Add shrimp and mix making sure all shrimp are coated.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours
Place six shrimp per skewer.
Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray and add skewers.
Cook in a preheated 425 degree fahrenheit oven for 8 to 10 minutes, turning after 5, until cooked.
