Sprouts along with many other vegetables aren't one of my favorite foods. However, I have tried several recipes to help me get to "LOVE" Sprouts and I have enjoyed several. This recipe made me LOVE them! When I first read the recipe I just checked the ingredients and didn't see Micowave - I don't do microwave so I adapted this recipe to stove top. I steamed the cut through sprouts for 4 minutes, drained them well. sprayed the bottom of the saucepan will olive oil, added the sprouts back in the pot, turned the heat to medium low. added the Jalepeno jelly and heatd them for 5 minutes. YES it was Wow -we loved the recipe Thanks Queen Bee you have added a love to my taste buds for brussels spouts! 1 April 2013 Made again, this time I used a wok, 3 oz.water wok for 3 minutes covered . Add Lime juice and Jelly continue cooking for a further 2 minutes and delish! 9 July13 Made again and enjoyed. April 21 2015 Made again using the same method as before. This time instead of jalapeno jelly I use habanero mango - very tasty (I had this jelly already open). Enjoyed just as much as last time. My sprouts were quite large and pale.I sliced them into 3 pieces.
