"This is another recipe I tried at my local Publix grocery store that I tried and saved the card to post the recipe. The recipe gives amounts for the seasoned salt and black pepper, but use your judgement to season them to your liking or dietary restrictions. I love cooked onion with my green beans, so feel free to add 2 TBSP's diced/minced onion to the 2nd step of the directions."

Had the kids over for our son's birthday dinner; these beans received all fourteen thumbs up! May omit the butter next time and proceed by crisping raw bacon, sautéing the onions, adding the beans, seasonings and 1/2 cup of water, covering, and cooking. Thanks Lynn for a great flavored dish that will please our family again and again!

Delicious! I had some nice bacon fat from cooking the bacon and used a tablespoon of that instead of adding butter. Really simple recipe, but it has a depth of flavor. Thanks for sharing! Made for FYC tag game!
