Step by Step Method

Step 1

Whisk eggs and milk in a bowl and add the crumpets, one at a time, to the egg mixture and set aside, turning once for 20 seconds to soak.

Heat oil in a large frying pan and cook the crumpets in 2 batches for 1 to 2 on each side or until golden brown.
