Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place chicken in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Cut pepperoni slices in half. Add pepperoni, mushroom and olives to cooker.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, tomato katsup and Italian seasoning. Pour mixture in cooker.

Step 4

Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 7 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.

Step 5

Five minutes before you serve, sprinkle cheese on top of chicken. Cover with lid and allow cheese to melt.

Step 6

Using a slotted spoon, transfer chicken, pepperoni, mushroom and olives to plates. Discard cooking liquid.

this was pretty good and was easy to make. I skipped the black olives but otherwise made as directed. Served with corn for an easy meal. Thanks for sharing!
