Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F, then grease an 11"x7" baking dish.

Step 2

Unroll crescent dough into two rectangles, then seal the seams & perforations.

Step 3

Roll out each rectangle between two pieces of waxed paper to fit the prepared baking dish, then place one of the rectangles inside the baking dish & bake for 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 4

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink, then drain.

Step 5

Stir in the tomato sauce & the sloppy joe mix, then spoon this mixture over the crust.

Step 6

Sprinkle the saucy mixture with cheese, then top with the remaining dough.

Step 7

Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
