"This is an old standby for using up leftover cooked meat. Use Beef, lamb, pork or chicken. My brother was a merchant seaman and after coming of a night watch they would often make up a plateful of this. The original recipe does not add BBQ sauce but I like to add it and I love a fried egg on top but it is not necessary, This is a recipe you can play with to use up leftovers. The last time I made it I left out the potatoes. Simple, easy and very tasty."
