Tasty! This sounded like a nice simple weeknight dinner for a cold winter's night, so I tagged it in the Billboard recipe tag game. I garlic salted and peppered the ground beef and used beef broth in place of the water. I interpreted 'converted rice' as 'instant rice' and used brown instant rice...I'm not sure if that was completely correct, as it took an hour of baking for most of the liquid to absorb. I'm thinking that this could probably be done quicker just on the stove-top. We loved this as is with mixed veggies alongside but I can see many additions being good in it: beans, veggies, salsa, etc. Freddy Cat says thanks for the beef!
