Step by Step Method
Step 1
Brown onions and green beans in skillet.
Step 2
Brown hamburger and drain.
Step 3
Boil 3-quart pan of water for rice; add rice and cook 10 minutes.
Step 4
Drain rice and rinse with lukewarm water.
Step 5
Meanwhile, add meat to vegetables with tomato paste and spices.
Step 6
Simmer till thick.
Step 7
In tall pan, pour oil in bottom of pan.
Step 8
Spray sides heavily with Pam.
Step 9
Start layering with rice on bottom, then hamburger mixture; repeat.
Step 10
Put wet dish cloth around rim and put lid on tight.
Step 11
Cook on low heat for 25 minutes.
Step 12
Place in cold water to unmold on plate.
