Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Step 2
Put oats, sugars, salt and flour in a food processor or blender and pulse a few times just to break down the oats a bit and mix the other ingredients. Pour into a bowl. Add chopped pecans and stir well. Add in the softened butter and mix in with the back of a spoon till it's all incorporated.
Step 3
Pour out onto a cookie sheet that's been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Spread out evenly. Place in preheated 350° F oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and stir well, then spread it out evenly again. Return to oven and bake an additional 8 minutes. Remove and let cool completely. Break apart. Keep in an airtight container.
