6 tablespoons chunky style peanut butter
3 ounces cream cheese, low fat type
1/4 cup brown suger, (i use splenda brown sugar mix)
2 tablespoons yogurt, fat free type
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 teaspoons mini semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup of raisins
4 small (9 inch) pita breads, halved and opened
1 large banana , thinly sliced
1 tablespoon butter melted (or low fat margarine)
Step 1 |
In a medium bowl mix together peanut butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, yogurt and cinnamon until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and raisins. |
Step 2 |
Spread the peanut butter mixture inside the pita pockets; add the banana slices; brush the outside of pita pockets with the melted butter. |
Step 3 |
Cook 2 minutes per side in a large frypan or on a griddle. |
