"Credit for this recipe goes to Paula Deen...she used it as a burger topping but it also makes a great chip dip for snacking. Or an excellent salad dressing thinned with a little milk..."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Chill and serve. *I prefer a chunkier texture, so I just mixed all of the ingredients by hand. Paula's recipe also listed 1 teaspoon salt, which I cut back considerably because I don't cook with a lot of salt...please adjust to your taste!

Maito

Liked your idea of using this as a salad dressing, so I actually just subbed buttermilk for the mayo (instead of using milk plus mayo), that way it would be nice and tangy. I also halved the quantity of the buttermilk, so it wouldn't be too liquidy. It was wonderful on salad with some fresh dill snipped over it. We used the leftovers as a dip for veggies and fries, and that was a great application too.
