Ingredients

2 tbsp butter or margarine

1 cup uncooked orzo

1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp chopped fresh basil for garnish

How To Make This Recipe

Step
1
Melt butter in heavy skillet over medium heat.
Step

Stir in orzo and saute until lightly browned.
Step

Stir in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Step

Cover and reduce heat and simmer until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 15 - 20 minutes.
Step

Stir in parmesan and basil and season with salt and pepper.
Step
6
Serve with the remaining chopped basil.
