"A very quick and simple dipping sauce. I like to serve this for fried, steamed, or grilled shrimp; but it is also good with grilled or fried chicken fingers or nuggets too. My friend serves this with grilled scallops, and as a sauce for lobster tails. So, as you can see - it is very versatile. Takes just a few minutes to make, and only 5 ingredients. Add a little kick, by adding some rum or tequila ... and try this dip with baked coconut shrimp or chicken too."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Sauce ... Add everything to a blender and puree until smooth. If you like the sauce a bit thinner, add a little water or orange juice.
Step 2
Optional ... I like to think out the sauce with a little tequila or rum. It adds a nice flavor, but doesn't over power the sauce.
Step 3
Serve and ENJOY! ... My favorite, is to serve this with blackened or spicy grilled and/or steamed shrimp. As mentioned, this is also excellent with coconut shrimp or coconut baked chicken - delicious. The cool and sweet papaya sauce is the perfect dip.
