Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2
Add butter to a 9 x 13 inch glass baking pan and place into oven just long enough to melt. Meanwhile, mix together the flour with all the 6 dry seasonings.
Step 3
Lightly moisten the chicken pieces with cold water, shake off any excess water.
Step 4
Completely coat the chicken pieces in the flour, then allow the coated chicken to sit for 20-22 minutes, then coat again in the flour mixture. Last, gently coat chicken pieces in the melted butter ending up with skin side facing DOWN in the pan.
Step 5
Bake skin side DOWN at in a preheated oven at 425 degrees F for 35 minutes, turn and bake skin side UP another 20 to 25 minutes, or until juices run clear and chicken is cooked through (total time will depend on the size of pieces you use, but the internal temperature should reach about 175 degrees.
