" I try to stay away from deep fried foods and this recipe is a nice alternative. Please do not expect that they will be anything like deep fried but the are crunchy and they are good! I said 4 servings but count on two can go through the lot of them."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350f
Step 2
Spray a cookie sheet with olive oil
Step 3
Mix the crumbs, oregano and cayenne together on a sheet of waxed paper or parchment
Step 4
Separate the rings, dip each in the milk, toss in the crumb mixture, place on the sprayed cookie sheet, single layer
Step 5
They won't be fully coated with crumbs but they will still have a nice crunch
Step 6
Bake for approximately 30 minutes until the onions are soft and the crumbs are golden
Step 7
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve
