Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a saucepan over medium heat, heat oil then saute onions until brown - add the mushrooms and saute more until the mushrooms are soft.

Step 2

Add garlic - cook 1 minute more.

Step 3

Add the broth, orzo, salt and pepper - bring to a boil .

Step 4

Reduced heat to low and cover - simmer covered for 10-14 minutes or until pasta is tender.

Step 5

Remove from the heat and stir in the parsley.
