"This is one of those desserts that you can't stop eating, thank God I took the photo right away cause I have devoured pretty much all of it myself! yes it's that good and talk about easy..this takes only minutes to mix up. The original recipe called for mandarin oranges I used fresh chopped pineapple because I had it, if you use canned pineapple you will need to hand-squeeze out the excess moisture. Okay enough said here's the recipe, I strongly advise to make this, you will love it, it does however need a few hours chilling time or the jello will be grainy, this is definitely a dessert you can make the day before you need it. If you have a an extreme sweet tooth add in some sugar. Cooking time is chilling time"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine container of cottage cheese with the orange jell-o packet. Stir until well mixed.

Step 2

Stir the well-drained can of mandarin oranges and the tub of Cool Whip. Stir.

Step 3

Now stir in the marshmallows and pecans. Store in the refrigerator and allow to get nice and cool. If you were to eat it right away, it would taste grainy from the Jell-O. But give it at least a couple of hours and the flavors will really come together.
