"A recipe that goes back may a year. I remember I used to used to get this in my sandwiches at school and really hated it. But now..... a new trend has started, now both my adult kids DH and yes even myself (go figure)really like this. So I am posting a very old recipe, which I have modernized....... SEE what you think! Maybe this could even cooked in a slow cooker! Serve on a cheese board sandwich or whatever."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Remove the fat and sinew from the meat and roughly chop. Combine with other ingredients in a saucepan.

Step 2

Cover and simmer for 2-3 hours or until the meat is tender, and allow to cool.

Step 3

When cooled puree in a food processor and transfer to s serving bowl.

Step 4

Refrigerate and serve.
