"From an old BBS site. The original recipe called for yellow raisins, which I replaced with dried cranberries. Great with turkey or roast duck. Can also be made and let stand 2 hours at room temperature and serve as a salad."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Wash rice thoroughly.
Step 2
Place rice and water in medium saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes. Rice should not be too soft. Drain and return rice to pan, over low heat.
Step 3
Add remaining ingredients and toss gently. Bring back to heat and serve.
