Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a large pot, cover, and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until flavors are blended.

To cook in a slow cooker, add all ingredients to slow cooker, cover, and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

Oh YUM! Delicious posole! Did need to make one change. I had a 9 1/2 pound leg of lamb that I had made and had lots left over, so used it in the posole. The lime brings all the flavours together to make a wonderful yummy soup! Thank you for sharing Mike! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.
