- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups applesauce
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamn
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raisins
What You Will Need
No special items needed.
Step 1
Cream shortening and sugarA.
Step 2
Add eggs and applesauce.
Step 3
Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, add flour mixture to first mixture in three parts. Stir in raisins. Bake 350 for 40-45 minutes
