"A friend sent me this recipe and I absolutely loved it. It is a pretty basic muffaletta recipe; but I loved that it was on Naan bread. Also, I really enjoyed their olive salad which was just a bit different than what is usually in a muffaletta. Cut in bite size pieces for the perfect appetizer; or cut in larger pieces for a sandwich. I do suggest making it a few hours before and wrapping up before serving. Cooking time DOES include time to set in the refrigerator."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Naan ... Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Lay the 2 pieces of Naan on top of one another and cut the edges to form a rectangle. Then, lightly toast the bread directly on the rack. You don't want it crispy, just lightly toasted, approximately 4 minutes. This will keep the bread from getting soggy.
Step 2
Sandwich ... Spread the bottom Naan with 1/2 cup of the olive salad. Then, add the following in this order: 1) pepperoni, 2) mozzarella, 3) mortadella, 4) red onion, 5) provolone, 6) baked ham, 7) roasted red peppers; and, 8) salami. Finish with the remaining 1/2 cup of olive salad and the top Naan bread, press down, and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 3-4 hours before serving if possible. Half way through, I flip it over.
Step 3
Note: you can use different deli meats. I found this to be a good combination; but use your favorites. Just make sure to alternate between meat, cheese, and the peppers.
Step 4
Serve ... Remove from the plastic and cut into small squares. Put a toothpick in each square to hold it together. ENJOY! Again, you can cut bigger slices to enjoy for lunch.
