"Such a quick and easy dessert. Serve with spiced whipped cream; or, a scoop of ice cream. My favorite ... serve this over my 'Applesauce Shortcake' (Recipe #16084). Prep time does not include time to let it rest. I like to let it chill for 15-30 minutes before serving."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Apples and Pears ... Any firm apple works for this recipe. I happen to love Gala or Fuji; and, same with the pear (a firm pear. Add the apples and pears to a bowl with the lemon juice, pinch of salt; and, toss to combine.
Step 2
Strawberries and Pomegranate ... Then, add the strawberries, pomegranate seeds, calvados, and sugar to the apples and pears; and, toss. Make sure to add sugar to taste. Refrigerate 15-30 minutes before serving.
Step 3
Whipped Cream ... Add the calvados or apple brandy to your favorite whipped topping; and, refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 4
Serve and ENJOY! ... Top my 'Applesauce Shortcake;' or, you can simply serve with a dollop of the spiced whipped topping - or, scoop of vanilla ice cream.
