Step by Step Method

Step 1

Using a food processor puree all the ingredients together until smooth (1-2 minutes).

Step 2

Strain pulp through a fine sieve pressing on the solids with a wooden spoon, discard remaining solids.

Step 3

Process mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. Transfer to a freezer safe container and freeze.

This sherbet is very refreshing and the perfect treat for summer. Late in the game I realized that an ice-cream maker was required (talk about a big oooops), so had to borrow one from my niece. The vodka wasn't over-powering at all which was a plus. The family thoroughly enjoyed it. An ice-cream maker will be on my Christmas list. Thank you ellie for sharing.
