Lunch Box Spread
"My mom made this a lot for me when I was in school. I loved it. I would have eaten it every day if she would give it to me. She alternated between this and cream cheese and olive spread. She didn't like to give me tuna or meats because we couldn't refrigerate our lunch boxes (smile); they just sat in the coat room all morning until lunchtime. My mom was very fussy about letting certain food sit around; me, too. Therefore, sandwiches like this were packed into my metal lunchbox waiting for me. And, the filling was pretty between the two slices of white bread. This is also good on crackers."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Soften cream cheese and with a fork add the jam and mix well; it will be a pretty pink.
Step 2
Spread on bread and cut the crusts off right at the edge so you don't make the sandwich too small; or leave the crusts on.
