Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl cream together sugar, applesauce, and vanilla.

Stir in pumpkin, set aside.
Step 4
In another bowl combine flour, baking soda and powder, salt, cinnamon and allspice. Stir into creamed mixture and mix well.
Step 5
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Step 6
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes.
Step 7
Cool on a wire rack.
