"The first time I had these I thought I had died and gone to heaven... This recipe is in the Top 5 for my FAVORITE desserts... Add a scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream on top of one of these yummy brownies when they are warm, is the ultimate in desserts in my opinion! Use an 8x8" pan."

Just got done making a double batch of these luscious brownies, using a 9x13" pan. Yummy yum yum! Especially with ice cream!

It's getting to be apple season and we couldn't wait to try these out. We didn't put them off again this year. It was time, so I made them yesterday to have while my dd, sil and grandchildren were here! My gd helped me cut the apples etc, and we doubled the recipe to use a 9x13" pan. We used extra apples and walnuts also. They turned out golden, chewy and delicious with the apples and nuts shining through! Needless to say, that pan didn't make it through the day!

I had some apples to use up and remembered about this recipe, so I got out my copy to make it. I doubled the ingredients and used my 9x13" pan. I had to bake it a little longer though because the batter was thicker. Talk about a good dessert. This tickled our sweet tooth 100%. Yummy yummy with ice cream on top!

I don't have much in the way of goodies in the house, but I did have some apples to use up, so decided it was time to turn on the oven and make some of these brownies. They don't take any time at all to prepare once you get the apples ready, and WOW are these ever good! Chewy like a brownie with yummy cinnamon and nuts. What a combo! I topped ours with some ice cream when they cooled just a little in the pan, and still warm. Mmmmmmmmm good!

We went apple picking and this is what my daughter wanted to make. They are so delicious! Of course we had to have a little ice cream to go with it!
