"I wanted to do a little something different with a bag of frozen Lima beans and came up with this. This is sort of the way I cook my green beans. If you want to add more Ham, go right ahead and do so. Also with any and all of my recipes,please adjust the seasonings to yours and your families tastes. " Keep Smiling :)"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a 2 quart sauce pan over medium heat, melt margarine.

Step 2

Add onion and ham, cook until onion is softened.

Step 3

Add lima beans and cover with enough water to barely cover beans(1 inch of water).

Step 4

Turn heat to low, cook until beans are tender, stirring occasionally(if using,add final Tablespoon of margarine @ this time).
