"Kathy is my sister. She & her DH have lived & spent a lot of time in the orient. He was raised there as his Dad was a marine biologist doing research for the US Navy in Taiwan. I asked her to give me a selection of her favorite recipes for an oriental meal & this is the dessert she picked. As with her other recipes, her source was her "Wei-Chuan Cookbook" by Huang Su Huei. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 375F.
Step 2
Cream butter & sugar until pale & soft.
Step 3
Beat in remainder of ingredients EXCEPT the bananas.
Step 4
Put cut bananas in greased baking dish & spread butter mixture on top.
Step 5
Bake for 10-15 min till tops are bubbling. Serve immediately.
