"Found over a decade ago (written in my handwriting), but surprisingly w/the source (recipecenter) & date (12-8-02) noted. I love cranberry juice, this is so simple to make & I like the fact they included a non-alcoholic version for those times you really need one. ENJOY! ... ETA: Culinary Quest #3 is about to begin. Given that both fruit drinks & fruit punch are very popular there, this recipe is being submitted for play in CQ #3."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large saucepan, combine cranberry juice, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks & cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat & simmer uncovered for 5 min. Remove spices.
Step 2
Add white zinfandel & heat until just warm.
Step 3
Ladle into mugs or transfer to a warm, heatproof pitcher & pour into mugs.
NOTE: If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, sub 3 1/4 cups white grape juice for the white zinfandel & omit the brown sugar
