"Just adding a little pep to our old friend smoked oysters. This is an easy tasty appetizer. If you don't like spicy cut back on the jalapeno & hot sauce. You may use toast slices but I prefer small mini bite crackers. There are about 10-12 oysters in a can and I like to allow 4-5 per person SOooooo 2 tins really only serves 4. You maycut the oysters in half but that is cutting it a bit thin."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix together the cream cheese, cilantro, lime juice, jalapeno& hot sauce.
Step 2
Cut the toast slices into interesting shapes,5 pieces per slice.
Step 3
Spread the cheese mixture thinly on each toast piece or on the crackers.
Step 4
Drain the oysters well on a paper towel.
Step 5
Pop an oyster on each cracker/toast piece.
Step 6
Sprinkle onion lightly over top.
Step 7
Serve.
