Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place chicken in large ziplock bag and pour in buttermilk and add paprika. Zip-lock and squish bag to evenly coat chicken. Marinate in fridge for 8 hours or overnight.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3

Combine remaining ingredients in a pie plate or shallow bowl. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Step 4

Take chicken from zip-lock one at a time, dipping in both sides in breading and place in baking dish. Liberally spray top of chicken with cooking spray until they are golden in color. This helps them brown without having to add butter or oil.

Step 5

Bake 30-35 minutes or until done. Baking time depends on size of chicken breasts.

Step 6

When serving, use a spatula and a table knife to keep breading on bottom of the chicken.
