"I like the ease of this dish. One pot, stove-top cooking. What more could you ask for? Serve with a nice salad or steamed vegetable to round out this great meal."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In medium bowl, beat eggs & milk until blended. Place crumbs on waxed paper or in a pie plate. Dip each chop into egg, then in crumbs to coat each side.

Step 2

In large skillet (that has a lid), heat oil over medium heat. Add 3 chops & cook until browned on each side. Remove and cooke remaining 3 chops. Remove those and set aside.

Step 3

In same skillet, add in potatoes, onions and pepper strips. Season with the salt & pepper. Return chops to the pan on top of the potato mix. Cover and reduce heat to medium low. Cook about 50 minutes.

Step 4

Remove chops and keep warm. Raise heat to medium high heat and cook potatoes until browned.

Very easy and tasty too, we enjoyed these pork chops and i really enjoyed that it was a one pot meal. The potatoes and onions were very tasty, i had to use celery as i had no sweet pepper in, it worked very well. Thanks for posting, i will be making this again.
