"This salmon recipe was created on the spur of the moment when I discovered that I was out of dill one night. It was an easy remedy to the problem, and the honey mustard salad dressing enhances the fish! Garnish with chives fresh from the garden and enjoy!(I use Newman's light honey mustard as it has whole grains of mustard in it). Yum!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat grill to medium heat.

Step 2

Use non-stick aluminum dull side toward the fish. Place salmon filet on foil with skin side down.

Step 3

Add butter to top of fish, and then drizzle salad dressing on top of salmon filet.

Step 4

Fold foil sides up forming a tent type packet with a small vent at the top.

Step 5

Place packet on grill right side up and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or to desired temperature. (My MIL likes it rare where I prefer it medium rare).

Step 6

When it is done, remove from packet and sprinkle chives on top of it. Serve and enjoy!

Very good and easy too. We used a grill pan on top of the stove and forgot the chives. Enjoyed by all. Thanks for sharing!

I love salmon and we have it pretty often, especially in the summer when it's so fresh (my dad gets it right off the boat). I used honey and mustard mixed together instead of the dressing. It was a delicious meal for us!

This hit the top of our salmon list with the first bite. My husband loved it so much he requested we have it on a regular basis. This has such a great flavor and it wasn't too strong. Went so well with sides of garlic mashed potatoes and a delicious Greek salad.

I followed the recipe exactly but baked it in the oven 375f for 15 minutes. Cooked to perfection. The honey mustard dressing give a lovely gently flavour addition. Will Make this recipe again

We love salmon and honey mustards which made this the perfect recipe to choose for our supper salmon. So quick and easy and so good. Topped with garden fresh chopped chives, served with a green salad - a great evening meal at our house!
