Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pour boiling water over tomatoes to cover 3 minutes, drain. Pour over lemon juice and vanilla, mix.

Step 2

Mix spices, salt, flour and corn starch; mix into tomatoes toss like apples. Pour into 1 pie crust. Dot with butter.

Step 3

Top with other pie crust, vent.

Step 4

Bake 60 minutes at 400 degrees, cool.
