Step by Step Method

Step 1

Peel the sweet potato and slice it into 1/2 inch thick rounds.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.

Step 3

Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place 1 layer of sweet potato rounds on top of the foil.

Step 4

Bake in a 375 degree Fahrenheit oven, until cooked through, turning every 15 minutes.

Step 5

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if using.

Step 6

Enjoy!

I used garlic powder instead of the cloves because it's what I had on hand. Other than that I followed the steps exactly. They were delicious!

I was lazy and used garlic powder and we loved these, so I can only imagine they'd be better if I actually minced garlic. I also completely forgot about parmesan, but I didn't miss it. Mom said she wouldn't mind having them again, which is a HUGE win at my house. Thank you!

We so enjoyed these yams! I had one large yam and cut it in half and made these on two different days and DH said that he likes these better than the fries! I tend to agree. Will have to try them with some parmesan. Thanks Bea for sharing.

5 star all the way. I only made 2 servings and upped the garlic to 2 large cloves. I didn't use any parmesan. Love the ease and the flavour of these sweet potatoes. Do again for sure.1 Nov 14 Made again and loved them just as much. so easy, so good 3 May 16 For the third time I loved it I used a Yam -Not as pretty but sure tasted good.
