  • When selecting shrimp, look for those that are plump and have a mild, sweet smell.
  • Fresh parsley has a much more intense flavor than dried, so it is best to use fresh when possible.

  • Substitute almond meal for the breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option. This substitution will make the dish gluten-free and provide a nuttier flavor.
  • Substitute olive oil for coconut oil for a healthier option. This substitution will make the dish lower in saturated fat and provide a milder flavor.

Cajun-Style Baked Shrimp Replace the breadcrumbs with 1/2 cup of Cajun-style seasoning. Increase the garlic to 4 cloves. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of paprika. Increase the lemon juice to 3 tablespoons. Omit the parsley.

Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan: Roasted asparagus with Parmesan is the perfect accompaniment to Garlicky Baked Shrimp. The slightly nutty flavor of the Parmesan cheese complements the garlicky shrimp, while the crunchy texture of the asparagus adds a great contrast. It's a simple, yet delicious side dish that will take your meal to the next level.

Roasted Potatoes with Rosemary and Garlic: Roasted potatoes with rosemary and garlic is the perfect side dish to go with Garlicky Baked Shrimp. The rosemary and garlic bring out the garlicky flavors of the shrimp, while the potatoes provide a heartier texture. The potatoes are roasted to perfection, making them crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. This simple yet flavorful dish will make your shrimp dinner even more delicious.

So simple, so easy and quick and delicious, I scaled back for 1 serve using 12 (about 350 grams) Queensland Banana Prawns and the longest task was peeling and deveining them otherwise a real breeze of a recipe. Thank you TeresaS, made for Pick Me tag game.
