"For garlic lovers only! Please use fresh garlic and fresh lemon juice. Yes this has a very strong flavor...but I think it's wonderful! I love it so much I usually double the garlic mixture. Although best with skin on chicken, the sauce is also great with boneless skinless chicken breasts."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a small bowl combine the garlic and parsley. Season with salt and pepper (I like a lot of pepper) to taste. Reserve half of the mixture for the sauce.

Step 2

Gently lift the skin of each chicken breast half to form a small pocket. Stuff each pocket with a quarter of the remaining garlic mixture.

Step 3

Grill or broil chicken breasts 8-10 minutes on each side until springy to the touch. Do not overcook.

Step 4

Heat the butter in a small skillet and add the remaining garlic mixture. Saute for a few seconds, add lemon juice, and heat through.

Step 5

Spoon sauce over chicken breasts to serve.

My garlic loving mom was raving about your delicious chicken so I tagged it as soon as I saw you posted it in on the Billboard. This was very good and so easy. My lil guy didn't seem to mind all the garlic; he ate a whole piece and had a few bites more of mine! This is a make again soon for us!

I came home last night and was really tired and didn't feel like cooking but I had chicken in the fridge that needed to be cooked and I was starving so I ventured into the kitchen and made this on my little George Foreman grill. I cut the recipe down to make 2 half chicken breasts. I am going to have one today and one for lunch or supper tomorrow. I loved this so much that I have added it to make on a regular basis. These quick meals are right up my alley these days with my dad sick and having to be gone so much. This is great and I thank you for posting it here for us T! Linda

I made this for my dad, husband and I tonight and it was extremely simple and very delicious. It went together quickly for me which I was happy about because I didn't want the broccoli we had with it to get mushy. I pounded my chicken breasts thin for quick cooking. We give this 5 stars but I would give it more if I could!
